We had so much fun photographing Maia and Shawheen's wedding at the Oaks of Salem in Apex, NC. The Oaks of Salem provided a beautiful place to photograph their wedding day. Luckily it was not too hot and everyone was ready to eat, drink and dance the night away. We arrived and started the day by capturing Maia's wedding dress and all of her details. From there we photographed Shawheen getting ready and then we did Maia's and Shawheen's First Look. It was a day not only to celebrate the lovely couple, but also to celebrate family and friends. It was important to Maia and Shawheen to capture everyone who attended. Family also added their creativity to the decorations, flowers and the food including Shawheen's mom making scratch baklava (we couldn't help but sample one or two - delicious!).
